Track Day Numbers

There are a few options to choose from depending on your preference and use of the car while not on the track. While permanent numbers are great for the track and give a car that "Pro" look, they are a bit much for the street. You certainly don't need any more attention from law enforcement than you are already getting if you have heavily modified your car for the track. So below are a few options for you to choose from.

On the cheap: Just use Shoe polish on the windows or Blue Painters tape. These are perfectly ok for most DE and track day events.
Buy at: Home Depot, Walmart, Lowes, or just about any home improvement store.

Temporary with a permanent look: Magnetic numbers are available from several suppliers. Keep in mind that over time magnetic numbers can harm the paint. Another option is the use of "reusable" numbers. These numbers have adhesive that allows them to be removed and reapplied many times. I have heard of getting several seasons our of a set of these.

Permanent Numbers: These are the best solution for a dedicated race car.
